As human beings, it’s our intrinsic duty to question the world around us. After all, it’s our pondering that inherently sets us apart from other species to begin with. In our quest for answers, the human race has steadily uncovered some of life’s greatest mysteries about the natural world we live in—from studying those shiny dots that illuminate the night sky to exploring the uncharted depths of the seas. The mere gaze at endless horizon points and unending lapping waves invokes an immediate sense of oneness. In celebration of this meticulous investigation, our Elegant Universe Collection pays homage to these wondrous finds and furthermore, the majority of these textiles are named after the brilliant, trailblazing women who played an integral role in this acquisition of knowledge. Elegant Universe tells the story of beauty and romanticism in the natural world through the intersection of science, femininity, & technology.

Exhibiting subtle, earthy shades, with hints of pink and metallic, our mineral pallet examines the molecular relationships all around us. Channelling an elemental beauty, the colors here range from warm taupes to dusty greens and an array of muted floral hues. Case in point: Earthy trims like Shikibu in Rose Gold and Cecile in Rosewood show off structured silhouettes, but surprise us with elements of wild whimsy. Fluent in the secret language of flora and fauna, this palette further reveals beautiful floral embroideries like Beatrix, leafy wallcovering Soka, and ethereal bumble bees by way of Baden. The painterly Ammal Flora print is perhaps the most striking of all, driving home the message that flowers are, indeed, the jewels of the earth.
