With the solstice in the books, we’re ready for the things that summer brings: long vacations, frosty drinks on the patio, and more time with the kids while they’re home from school.
As the heat dome locks into place over where I live in Tulsa, I’m drawn to palettes centered on powdered sunshine and Popsicle-stained lips. I’m fully stocked on poolside reads. Home projects have me pondering how we can make the most of our space. As the time approaches for some time away with family, I wonder what plans are getting your time and attention this season.
It’s true what Jenny Han wrote in The Summer I Turned Pretty: “Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August.” I’m excited to share what’s been inspiring to me during these days of late-evening sunsets and gardens bursting with blooms.
