Gray Malin is known for his aerial images of skiers on ski runs and sun tanners on the beach. Now, in the age of interactive art experiences, you can actually step inside one of his whimsical photographs IRL. His latest collaboration with AspenX presents Snow Beach: an immersive pop-up beach club activation that merges the seaside with the slopes, bringing Malin’s bird’s eye view to life at the top of Aspen Mountain through the end of March. Think chic red-and-white cabanas and sun loungers, custom Gray Malin trays and pillows, snow games, an Instagrammable lifeguard stand, and dancing to a live DJ.

Famous for their après-ski moments, The Little Nell is executing five-star food and beverage pairings, including bottle service, caviar, black truffle pizza slices, and more. It’s a fun culmination of Malin’s relationship with Aspen as his muse. The photographer has created several series centered around the magical mountain resort town including À la Montagne, Dogs of Aspen, and the nostalgic Gray Malin in Aspen series, which was inspired by vintage luxury ski culture and features wardrobe and props from the 1950s-1980s.
