HarlemToileDeJouy-1"I grew up in a home where the cultures of my communities (Black and South Asian) were constantly emphasized through art, food, and music, to teach our history and help me develop confidence and pride through celebration and joy," explains author, activist and founder of Phenomenal, Meena Harris. Meena recently brought home Harlem Toile by Sheila Bridges. Admiring the wallcovering's celebratory nature, Meena made the iconic Toile de Jouy the focus of her dining room in the effervescent yellow colorway.

Meena muses, "As my kids get older and more capable of appreciating their surroundings, it’s become really important to me to do the same. We just moved, and this wallpaper is one of the very first things I put up."
